Currently, he is the research and operations manager at Spoonshot. During his tenure, he led many high-value consumer research projects (qualitative and sensory research) for big FMCG clients, executed short- and long-term data quality assurance on both front- and back-end data, and improved data quality substantially. Sayantan guided and supervised the investigation of relationships between various food attributes and experimented by leveraging it to a concept level.
Sayantan worked as a senior product development associate at Thinking Forks Consulting Private Limited for over a year. He led 15 end-to-end NPD and advisory projects across various food categories and coordinated the launch of more than 25 new products for a leading e-commerce firm by evaluating supplier quality (sensory). Sayantan also worked as an analyst in QA and PD at NDDB Dairy Services - helped in improving milk quality and in reducing the non-conformances of producer companies by conducting periodic audits and benchmarking exercises.
