Caroline is an expert in business growth, has served as a CGO/GM, and possesses expertise in commercial, marketing, capability, and improving brand and business performance to create value. She gathered extensive experience in blue chip FMCG then built digital knowledge and agile ways of working within several SME businesses before working for private equity.
Caroline has worked alongside top consultancy firms to create growth strategies for her clients in the plant-based market. Projects have involved developing innovation-led growth plans, leading business process transformation, preparing for investment, acquisition and sale, establishing marketing capabilities, and creating an ESG platform. In her last role leading the Plant Business Unit at Compleat, they delivered 30% sales growth with Squeaky Bean one of the fastest-growing meat mimic brands, achieving top 10 brand status and a share of over 3% by end Q3 2022.
Before that, she was the GM UKI & Euro Brand Leader Spreads at Unilever, leading the marketing re-positioning of Flora into Plant Based, developing a category strategy for trade partners, transitioning the team through a restructuring, reshaping the approach to advertising, and initiating a more agile renovation and innovation program prior to its successful sale.
