It was a pleasure spending the week with the National Poultry Council of Poland, partnering with Gregory Roustel Retail Consultant and GMTravel, to help them with their goal to exporting poultry to Japan.

Exporting poultry to Japan: competitiveness through quality

Third largest exporter worldwide, the National Poultry Council of Poland looked to expand their presence on the Japanese market, competing on product quality (chicken, turkey, goose) rather than price versus their competitors, Brazil and Thailand.

However, Japan food and beverage retail landscape obeys to a complex multi-layered distribution system. The National Poultry Council needed local experts to reach out to key distributors to pitch about their products.
